When I’m not busy behind a mic or in front of a camera, I'm either nose-deep in a biography, watching a documentary, or whipping up a newly discovered sweet or savory vegan recipe.

 

You might also find me getting overly involved in true crime shows and podcasts—I’m an honorary detective at this point. And music? From ’50s rock ’n’ roll and blues to ’80s jams that make you wanna break out the Jordache jeans and leg warmers, my playlists are a time machine for your ears.

I’m also an auntie, a wife, a former accordion player—also a former travel agent, former radio promotions gal, former bartender, former insert here—and a Germany-born, southpaw, empath, thalassophile, humanist who believes in living by your own rules instead of following someone else’s.

And as a proud product of suburban Chicago, I’ve got dual citizenship in the U.S. and Croatia, which means I’m legally and morally obligated to eat deep-dish pizza and drink rakija.
